For legal branding purposes, we have been compelled to change the name of our retreat from the Ganja Goddess Getaway to the Glowing Goddess Getaway.
It is with heavy hearts that we must cancel our Washington state Ganja Goddess Getaway that was scheduled for June 28th-30th, 2019. In spite of our excitement to gather the Washington Goddesses next summer, we want to show respect and cooperation to our fellow goddesses from Strategic Star Properties, LLC, which does business under the names Ganja Goddess, Goddess Delivers, and Ganja Goddess Foods throughout the State of California and in Seattle, Washington (collectively, the “Ganja Goddess Brands”). We are attempting to eliminate confusion in the marketplace about the source of our services.
The Ganja Goddess Tribe had the distinct honor of brining our Tribe Vibes to the Women&Weed LA night at Hitman Coffeeshop. We got to share weed, dabs, and edibles with all the ladies. Plus, we got to share about our 5 High Standards and how we like to use cannabis as a creative and spiritual tool. We had such an amazing time talking, connecting, laughing, eating, and shopping! It was a great night with a wonderful turn out. We hope you can join us at our next SisterSesh or Getaway!! As many of you know, the Ganja Goddess Tribe has had a board of “5 Sisters” who ran the Getaway. Until recently, we have all worked together to build this weekend event into a community that has evolved into the tribe we all know and love. Well, things have changed…
Our goddess of the month is Gillian McCord! (fb: @gillianmccord, insta: @gillicakes) Gillian works as volunteer staff at the Getaway, plus she often leads our morning meditation. She's always looking for new ways to cultivate mindfulness and positivity in her life; she is always seeking personal growth and truly lives a beautiful and healthy lifestyle in mind, body, and soul. In addition to all of that, she also gives away a TrimBag at each event and makes the season of the grower who wins! She spreads love and happiness everywhere she goes and we're so blessed that she's part of our tribe! Next time you see this cute little lady (in the pic, she’s the one on the right) working to make your Getaway great, give her a great big goddess snuggle - she'll love it!
I love this 365 Give concept that fosters a daily practice of giving as a way to cultivate personal happiness while making the world a better place. And what a better place to start than at the Getaway. I like to think of 4/20 as the Stoner New Year and look at what cannabis has helped me accomplish in the past year and think about what it can help me accomplish this year. Resolutions at New Years can be so intimidating and overwhelming, while commitments to cannabis feel more like happy gifts I give myself with the help of my ultimate sistersesh partner, Cannabis Sativa herself.
SOooooo, I’m going to be doing the 420 to 420 Give challenge. I am going to focus on my giving back to my tribe (whether Ganja Goddess or local community) from 4/20/2018 to 4/20/2019 and I invite you to join me in this journey. We can share stories and experiences and grow all along the way! Plus swap ideas for simple and meaningful ways to give back. Like maybe make treats for your local ASA, SSDP, or NORML meeting. Or maybe write a letter to a canna prisoner. Or twist one up and give it to a stranger. Or work on a quilt for 15 min a day to donate to a canna kid. Or you could just host your girls for a sistersesh and double score (420 GIVE + SisterSeshSunday) on Sundays!!! Because what happened in their absence was personal growth amongst the tribe. It wasn’t deliberate, exactly, but it definitely fed into our flow. Having our volunteer staff arrive early and work (like legitimately sweat) to serve our tribe turned out to be the perfect way to create an environment of service, love, and generosity.
...more than any lovely experience we create, the real magic is in the love and connection we all share. The sisterhood that has broken free from any event or label we give ourselves. The legitimate love and friendship that burns deep in all our hearts and creates a tribe, a community, a sisterhood that makes each of us stronger.
